Glad to finally use this soap. u/TheStallionPartThree told me awhile back that he was gonna take on Big Soap and I’m very happy to see it came to fruition and able to support him. A super slick and easy base to work with. The scent and improvement show compared to Testing… Testing… and had a great shave. I wish you good fun and success in your new endeavor!

Finally another great shave. I forgot how quick a DE and a killer base help make the process so enjoyable. Somehow this little tub of soap and perfume made it to my door. I don’t feel confident in describing scents, but what I can say is that this that I really like this. If you look up the word Verdigris, imagine that in perfumery form that you (at least me) could wear everyday. Clean, non-offensive, approachable, yet unique and imaginative.

A month has gone by and this is what I learned. I can use a Weck proficiently, but it is not fun to me. Mike’s base can definitely be tricky if you do not know what you’re doing. A month long of Vetiver and 322 taught me I do not go nose blind to Haitian Vetiver and I never got sick of them. Maybe a tad bored, but I still love them. Never doing Headless again and never doing Nightmare mode again either. Thanks to everyone who participated in our Mike’s challenge, successful or not. Also have a great boar brush to continue working in.

I really do think this blade is starting to lose its edge or I am just getting complacent with my lather. This one felt pretty rough and was glad when the shave was finished. Still waiting on this brush to stop eating lather too. Maybe I just need to load it to no end and see where that gets me.

Shave was a little rough today. Getting the angle right with the Weck is getting easier each day and at this point, I am glad I am using it for the month. I don’t get perfect shaves with it, but it is pretty fun once you start to get the hang of it.

Today’s shave was good. Was probably the first day where I wasn’t digging vetiver since I had a pretty bad headache earlier, but I got through it. Brush is feeling even better know and I think the Fromm is getting even smoother somehow.
