Sample kill. Great lather performance from Stirling and a good medium strength scent. Bay Rum has a nice clean scent to my nose; I don’t think it’ll make it to my shopping list though.
It’s interesting to me that the Tabac EdT is different than the EdC. EdC (splash) starts very peppery and lands on the expected Tabac Original scent in dry-down. EdT (spray) doesn’t have the big pepper note at the beginning and lands on a fuller version of Tabac Original in dry-down.

I’m trying out some Mäurer & Wirtz products today. *4711*, I haven’t figured this scent out yet. The top end is in the neighborhood of Tabac Original, but middle and base are very different. It has a solid funk to it; I like it. *Tabac Man*, seems more modern with less flower and funk.

Bias alert: I’m in love with slants.
My neck hair grows straight up and against my skin. Slant razors are particularly good at getting those bastards, comfortably. In my mind, the slicing cut is key. But you know YMMV, etc.

I’ve heard the install/setup instructions for Prusa machines are pretty good. Along with hardware to assemble it it comes with a bag of candies and the instructions have you take treats along the way. :)

Cheshire smells so good to me.
Today was the L3++ baseplate’s first back-of the-neck shave. It was very efficient — previously, I was doing a three-pass run (ATG, XTGx2) and today two-pass got me BBS. No cuts, no weapers. Alum gave me an A- all over. Just an extra tingle behind one ear.

I killed my Proraso Pre-shave yesterday. It’s always sad to me. It’s such a nice jar.
Today wash my first shave with the Superslant L3++ (I have been shaving with the L3 base plate). It’s noticably more efficient. I took it slow and ended up with a comfortable shave.

I have two FaTip slants. Il Piccolo Storto Originale (open comb, heavy/thin handle) and Lo Storto Gentile (closed comb, lighter/wider handle).
I swapped handles and prefer open comb with the wider handle. I’m a fan of slants and I’m moving towards more aggressive razors. RR Superslant L3 is my daily driver right now. L3++ is in the mail.

Tabac Tuesday. I’m working on killing a tube of Tabac cream. It’s performance is similar to the non-tallow formula soap and it’s slightly faster (no 30 second brush load or bloom). I may pick up another tube of this for my travel kit.
