Do you have resting bitch face?
I have an active bitch face, too. It’s not even that I hate everything and everyone, I’m just not putting on a wide smile for every little thing, and I’m bad at faking it anyway. Probably an autism thing (I’m aware that many autists are actually really good at ‘faking it’, but it’s not quite the same as what ‘normal’ people do).
They drill that shit into you in customer care jobs. I quit mine well over 5 years ago and I still do it. My coworkers mentioned several times how I’m always so friendly, smiling, looking happy, whatever. And I’m just thinking to myself this is the best way to get over the interaction as fast as possible while disarming people’s annoyance, or at least make them redirect their frustrations somewhere else.
I remember when I applied for a couple of those types of jobs as a student. Didn’t go well.
Somehow people are still talking to me, so apparently my resting bitch face is not good enough
Really why i love call meetings instead of video. my voice is friendly but my face and body says you dense bio mass.

I’m starting to think I have resting happy/interested face, because I try to look tired and uninterested sometimes but people be yapping away. Can’t tell if it’s my face or they are just oblivious yappers.
