One man was arrested in Melbourne, with police deploying crowd control measures including OC (or pepper) spray, flash-bangs and rubber bullets during a tense stand-off with counter protesters.
Pity they swapped out one of the Canberra pictures since I read the article earlier, I found it amusing how well the roadworks sign works with a protest crowd:

There’s no need for a ‘hmmm…’, those shitheads are open, Hitler-heiling Nazis: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Socialist_Network

This guy… National Socialists, you say? Perhaps I should be wary, instead of, you know, fighting against the nazis trying to take over my country.
I will squint now.

I hear a lot of theorists talk about how being involved in a movement forces people to come to terms with the reality of it. Propaganda often doesn’t hold up against what’s in front of your face. And it’s reassuring to see that it’s sometimes the case.

From the main rally organiser Natasha Wanganeen:

Apparently this guy turned up to the anti-racism.rally uninvited and tried to make it all about him by having a press conference of sorts. Was a Trumpet if Patriots candidate at election. So it’s not like he’s had a change of heart. Opportunist looking to self-promote and wants to wash stink of NSN off any future tilt at office I guess.
