Whatcha all playing?
I’ve been continuing with Dying Light the Beast which is solid. Also started BF 6 which I’ve been having a blast with. Really fun time
Finished Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. It was pretty decent, unfortunately not particularly scary. Most of the times it felt it was going more for ‘horny’ than ‘horror’.
Played a few rhythm games, mainly Arcaea and Spin Rhythm XD.
I really like Arcaea, I used to play it a lot years ago. I think the lasers are a pretty good way to feel the music. It can get really cramped on a phone tho.
On the other hand, Spin Rhythm has good ideas, but I really really don’t like the song selection. Out of the around 80 songs, I enjoyed only 3 or 4, among which only on I’d say I liked. The mapping is generally good and consistent, but the gameplay feels really simple and gimmicky. I haven’t tried many custom charts, but the ones I did try didn’t feel particularly good.
I tired the demo for Milion Depth because it looked nice and the premise was interesting, but I really can’t understand the appeal of roguelikes.
I also started Fatal Frame (the first Ps2 game). From the first two hours, I already like it more than Maiden of Black Water. The atmosphere feels scarier and the gameplay is closer to survival horror than action.
I just completed the first Alan Wake (again) and then finished Alan Wake 2 after it. Now I’m playing Alan Wake: American Nightmare. I started playing Control too, but it has a lot of sounds and visuals that bother my wife, so I’ve shelved that one for the time being.
Since the audio allready an issue to your wife I feel like pointing out that Control is a wonderful experience with headphones.
I bet! I’m gonna go that route. My wife just likes watching me play games, so I always try to share the experience with her. Control might become the late night game I play after she’s asleep. I love the work Remedy puts into their games.
Need for Speed: Carbon.
Neigsendoig (whom I edited videos for) and I had just conducted an experiment with some customization options at some certain levels due to significant numbers in cryptocurrency. For example, the Bitcoin rep for each car class (in this game, Exotic, Muscle, and Tuner) has 21% (signifying 21 million BTC) on the Autosculpt parameters for parts we chose, despite us using Extended Customization for some further control in what parts we chose.
This is the same with Monero at 51% (due to a 51% attack that happened to Monero in 2025) for each Autosculpt parameter for parts we chose, 20% (signifying ERC-20) for Ethereum (really, Ether), and just stock for Zano (think Tor routing of sorts for cryptocurrencies without privacy by default), with no Autosculpt.
We also utilized different color schemes representing each cryptocurrency as well to differentiate each car we decided for each class (4 per class). All of this will be edited by either myself or Sendo (if I do edit this, it’d be the first time I edited for that channel in about a year or so). We hadn’t decided upon that as of yet.
That’s what I’ve been doing as of late.
Lenna’s Inception and Unavowed.
I finished the Forza Horizon 5: Rally Adventure DLC. It’s alright. The courses are more difficult than the base game, but the map is also so small, but still packed with courses, and you’re constantly driving through the same parts. Since you also need to do each race at least twice (one rally, one normal race) everything just kinda blends together.
Then World of Warcraft: Legion Remix has started. This is the second time they’ve done this mode, and the first time was some of the most fun I’ve had with the game ever. This time doesn’t hit as hard, but it’s still fun. I started out as a Demon Hunter, but found it kinda meh to play. So I’ve switched to my normal main class, a Monk, which is a lot more fun.
Hades II: love how everything ties up in 1.0.
Dwarf Fortress: my Fortress is coming together nicely. Food and drinks are plentiful, morale is good. Gotta strengthen my defenses though.
Slay the Spire and Cloverpit have been 2 games taking up majority of my time when gaming. Followed by Maze Mice and the Project Diva game on Steam to a much lesser extent.
Though I just got a copy of the first 3 Jak and Daxter games on PS2, so good chance I might replay the first game this weekend.
I’ve been enjoying Combat Master on the PC it’s an FPS that’s a lot of fun.

Been mostly playing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The game is now a decade old, so the timing is good. Of course pirated, as I’ll never give Konami any money.
