I played a few DoTA games with friends while this was occurring and twice during gameplay approximately 10 seconds of play experienced some server-side lag for everyone in the game - there were moments of confusion that rapidly passed. Steam ops team did well.
Truly a tremendous impact and a fantastic use of the attackers time and resources.
My game last night was more like a couple of lag. Luckily, Dota has an in-built system to detect it, so the game wasn’t recorded and those of us who didn’t leave spent the remainder of the game messing around.
Kinda puts the Silksong launch into perspective…

Oh, that might have been me. Installed Cachy the other day and tried out a lot of packages just to see what works. Sorry about that.

You know, I find it quite annoying that hackers will choose a target like Steam rather than a force. That’s actually evil in this world. Like, put your skills to good use at least…

They might think forcing people to do something besides videogames would result in less apathy twoards the problems facing our world.
