I’m done doing it.

What do you mean prohibition never works?
- Comment on Did I used to be homophobic? Am I? 1 week ago:
If you still feel a visceral reaction to two adults of any kind being intimate, then i feel like that is some residual homophobia.
It sounds like you want to be a good person, so that’s what is most important.
That being said, if you want to get over your biases against homosexual women, i would suggest exposure therapy or talking with a real therapist.
This kind of conditioning is hard to undo.

They’re trying to pivot to world domination.
I’m not kidding. -_-
- Comment on Why is Lemmy much better with telling a user why they were banned? 1 week ago:
It feels pretty similar
You either get banned with a copy/paste response that doesn’t actually apply, or you get nothing
The worst harassment gets banned with the right reason, but there are tons of bans where the person with the power just didn’t like you.

What is the difference?
- Comment on September 2025: Updates for the .worlds and call for donations 1 week ago:
Is there a difference? They both support fascist dictatorships.
- Comment on Dune: Awakening gets a free weekend for September 11, a first ever discount and early DLC release 1 week ago:
The 2 friends I had who bought it are done already.
You are forced to grind and then you reach endgame and you realize the game is over and there’s nothing to do after you make your house and finish the missions
Also if you log off for more than a couple days all your progress gets wiped
Sounded like a letdown

ACAB holy fuck.
If my boss told me at my job, I had to attack genocide protesters or I would be fired I think I would rip out his jugular with my teeth and then quit
- Comment on The USA prided itself on a nation of immigrant, heck even the Statue of Liberty says it. When did immigrants (US citizens from the old world) become anti immigrant and why? 1 week ago:
The Unites States was founded by religious extremists who were pressured to leave their community because of their extremist Christian beleifs.
Until we force wealth equality people in the US will not be equal.
- Comment on McDonald’s CEO is grappling with a ‘two-tier economy’ as he slashes prices on value meals—and signals backing for a minimum wage increase 1 week ago:
Their cheeseburgers were literally called “dollar cheeseburgers”
I would go and get 8 fucking cheeseburgers for like $10 after tax
I stopped going when I noticed my dollar cheeseburger cost me 2 dollars each. I don’t make double my income now McDonald’s, why do you think you deserve double price?
- Comment on McDonald’s CEO is grappling with a ‘two-tier economy’ as he slashes prices on value meals—and signals backing for a minimum wage increase 1 week ago:
The only people you should be concerned about are the ones in the 270k/yr and up tax bracket.
100k/yr isn’t enough in a lot of places.
- Comment on McDonald’s CEO is grappling with a ‘two-tier economy’ as he slashes prices on value meals—and signals backing for a minimum wage increase 1 week ago:
Seriously, this is Economics 101 shit and everyone in a position of power just pretends it doesn’t apply for some dumb ass excuse.
The more money people have, the more they will spend.
The more money spent in an economy, the more things are bought, the more opportunities for others to start businesses and make profit present themselves.
The system works better for everyone when money keeps circulating. That’s why UBI is becoming a popular solution to this problem.
The majority of money is stagnant in the US.
It has been siphoned from the working class and is currently kept in the assets of the rich.
And it needs to be redistributed for the system to work well again.

- Comment on Unemployed workers outnumber available jobs for first time since 2021 1 week ago:
Probably
The real number is probably much lower
Trump’s sec of the OPM just said that they are intentionally causing economic instability to encourage people to take the Gestapo jobs being posted.

- Comment on Who are the "middle class" supposed to support in the class stuggle? 1 week ago:
People who have to work a job to live are workers.
Every other abled bodied person who lives without contributing doesn’t need to be around.

Never

The enshittification would be too much, and people would gravitate twoards the more usable tech.
People liked Apple and Google because they offered simplified UX that still let people access what they wanted, as soon as people feel too restricted they will stop using the tech.
This trend is independent and unimpeded by the legality of the tech.
