I love this game. It’s a cell shaded coming of age adventure where you ride your scooter around the desert and explore ruins or meet unique characters. It’s easily worth full price imo so this is definitely a steal.
This is the second really positive review of the game I’ve read the past few days. I might actually slot it into my backlog now.
It's my wife's favorite game. If you do play it, after leaving the starting area, enjoy the song. Don't beeline to the oak tree camp thing, it'll cut the music off unceremoniously.

Well, there is time to lose. 7ish hours main story and 20+ completionist is a pretty wide range. How many hours did it take for you?

I’d like to imagine I’m responsible for the first! Do try it, it’s really good. It doesn’t feel like other games, there’s no frenzied movement, nothing really skill-based, or reaction-based, you can just explore a beautifully designed world (the art style is so unique), with a perfect soundtrack (Japanese Breakfast!)…tackle things your own way!
Its a beautiful game, not something I’d typically enjoy but slowing down to enjoy a slower game made me happy.

You were indeed! You’re convincing me, I’ll pencil this in as a palate cleanser at some point this year!
This was a fun game. Recommend if you like the open world Zelda games but want something more relaxed.
This fucking game. I wanted to love it so much, but so many game-killing bugs wrecked it for me.
The style, the atmosphere, the lore, the whole chilled out vibe, everything just appealed.
Then bug after bug, some which hard-locked save games just ruined it for me.
The developer appears to have disappeared off the face of the earth, and we got one or two patches immediately after launch that fixed some performance issues, but there was so much more to fix.
I’d love to play a polished version of this.
I have never encountered the bugs you describe. Maybe you got a bad version?
This is one of the games that I always keep installed. Just chilling, gliding around, trying to climb higher and higher. Love it.
I tried playing it for a few minutes but I genuinely got incredibly lost and dropped it because if I wanted to err without goal I’d just go look in my fridge

I have a problem with the character’s animation framerate. I want to like the game but can’t look past that.
