I quit netflix about a year ago. I watched ST 1-4 nd was excited to see the series conclusion. So much time has gone by that I don’t really care if I see the final season.

I honestly can’t remember a single fucking thing that happened in the last season. Nothing.

Same I’m done it feels like it been fucking over a decade since season 1. This show should have been done years ago. I’m over it and don’t care how it ends. Maybe one day I will see it, but I have better shows to be excited about.

The staggered release is annoying but whatever

Same. I don’t really get why.
I’m fine with the release of a single episode every week like if it were running on TV. I love when all episodes are out on the release day, as I could binge watch them.
From Netflix’ POV it’s probably that they’re trying to maximize customer retention? If everything is out on day one, I could subscribe for a single month and then cancel the subscription. But I don’t really see a difference to releasing the episodes regularly besides, that I may now binge watch at three different dates instead of 1-3 days after release?

Yes, make no sense to me why they don’t release it weekly. It would make more sense. Especially with episodes more than 90 minutes long…

This is not the way to release a show.
It’s holiday season, people are traveling and people are hanging out with different people who are in different states of watching the show.
January is the dump month, so I guess it’s a free space, but huge miss.

My assumption is they are trying to get the “Family Christmas movie” crowd that goes see a movie on Christmas, and they are hoping a month is enough time for everyone to watch volume 1. Gathering the family to watch Stranger things would be cheaper than going out.
