- Comment on Fallout 76 Ghoul Experience Detailed by Bethesda 10 hours ago:
Glad to see this is still going, I played it a ton at launch and had a lot of (buggy) fun. This is a neat update, I’m imagining groups of constantly ghouls roaming around nuked areas gathering all the resources.

Circling back and confirming it’s a lot of fun! The digital version is a little buggy but we played it a few hours last night and will probably play a few more rounds tonight

Maybe their new target demo is their families and spouses, someone who will pick it up thinking “on I remember seeing something like that, they’ll love it!”

My partner and I have been playing some of the board games from the recent humble bundle and having a lot of fun! Cats and Quilts of Calico is a nice little strategy game where you place tiles and get points for their adjacency, plus it has a cat creator. Terraforming Mars is like the board game but waaaaaay easier because you don’t have to track your little cubes and all your actions manually.
Hoping to try out the new Pavlov update tonight, even if it is a little disappointing (ported maps and paid skins 🥲)
- Comment on Todd Haynes finally comments on his scrapped film with Joaquin Phoenix 1 week ago:
Correct, but celebs bring buzz and provide some upfront marketing. You can have the best movie ever made, but if nobody sees it then what’s the point (as far as getting people paid goes)

4 is the better game but 3 has a nice simplicity, plus it was my first game in the series so I’m quite fond of it

This series is crazy and I LOVE it, such a fun concept and they’ve been reinventing itself the last few releases. The previous was full 3D and was glorious

You’re right, and those with a following are the important accounts that would help get the others to leave
- Comment on European Federation of Journalists to stop posting content on X 2 weeks ago:
Nobody said anything about surviving? These are people who worked for years building a career. What you said wasn’t incorrect, but it is about as useful as telling someone “just learn to code!” with an added layer of moral superiority
- Comment on European Federation of Journalists to stop posting content on X 2 weeks ago:
People aren’t going to put their livelihood at risk because someone else is morally right. If they all hopped ship overnight it would be a different story, but until the dominos start to fall they’re too ingrained to make it likely. At best I can see some mirroring accounts just in case it actually does happen.

Curious how this will do. It was already dismissed once and now it’s joined a different suit, wonder if they actually have any evidence this time

The angle looks a bit odd too, I’d expect those grips to be more prominent if it wasn’t angled down

I also highly recommend watching it! The fight scenes are awesome and the animation is soooo fluid. Such a good example of adapting a game’s world to a series

Involving a Circle K, a corporate email chain, a private investigator, and so much more, this special podcast episode is worth listening to! I posted the transcript for easier reading.

- Comment on The Walking Dead, The Expanse and more in the Telltale Collection Humble Bundle 4 weeks ago:
Their story based games feel higher budget, the controls start out serviceable but get better as the sequels release.
I think Wolf is the best of the games I’ve played, but I haven’t yet beaten Season 4 so I might change my mind. S4 is definitely the best looking so farThanks for the info! Monkey Island might be fun for a rainy day, never played the originals
- Comment on The Walking Dead, The Expanse and more in the Telltale Collection Humble Bundle 4 weeks ago:
Season 3 was pretty bad, everyone was so shiny! 4 is good so far, art style is back and actually improved, I think they somehow added part of the style to the previous games too, if you wanted to replay them anyway 👀
And you’re right about Wolf, if it were a tv show I’d never hit skip on the intro. Hopefully season 2 is still happening?

- The Expanse: A Telltale Series
- Batman - The Telltale Series
- Tales of Monkey Island: Complete Season
