So, I’ve found stories about how this is a Kickstarter game etc, but is one of the characters really a Nazi? Or is Anon pulling this out their ass?

Apparently Stev is a duvous soldier, which is actually a nazi looking faction in another game that looks related.

The wiki makes it sound like a very militaristic nation, but “literal nazi” is definitely a stretch.

Duvos wields the might of the world’s largest army, armed with a formidable arsenal that includes old world relics. Their military might is not just for show; it’s a tool for ‘force negotiation’ with other nations and city-states. The country’s aggressive past is marked by a war with the Alliance of Free Cities over resources in the ruins of Lucien, a conflict that nearly obliterated Lucien itself. Although the war concluded in a stalemate and a peace treaty was signed, Duvos’s history of leveraging military power for strategic gain casts a long shadow, hinting at their possible motives in Sandrock.

It is revealed during the mission “Give me a Sign” that Duvos had a “Plan Zeta”, a covert military strategy involving a sudden occupation of Sandrock. This operation includes jamming all communication signals and severing the city’s rail connections. The urgent call for a signal blackout precedes the deployment of the “Whale,” an imposing airship capable of transporting an entire army, indicating Duvos’s intent to launch an airborne invasion of Sandrock. The presence of such airships in their arsenal and their jamming technology showcases Duvos’s formidable military capabilities and their readiness to employ overwhelming force to achieve strategic objectives.

Stuff like this really dilutes the “literal nazi” thing. I think it’s hard to unify when whom to unify against is a bit difficult to define

My time at evershine, the sequel to my time at Sand Rock and my time at Portia … Think stardew valley 3d but more collecting resources and punching llamas to build things than farming (though you can also just farm).

…the art style takes some getting used to if you start at Portia; but its incredibly fun for a couple of play throughs.

If it’s anything like Portia it’s really not a farmsim either. More of a crafting cozy game. You don’t really farm.
