Over the past 20 years, Kevin Ford from Las Vegas virtually never took a sick day because his job didn't offer paid sick leave. People across social media chipped in for him to finally afford a break.
Well this certainly qualifies for orphan-crushing machine.
This is a weird interpretation of workers rights
And if you read her article, you’ll see that he talks about how terrible it was to have had to work so much and how much he regrets it.

And he was grateful for the candy! What a kind person. If anyone deserves that kind of money it is certainly him. I hope he gets to retire and never worry about flipping another burger while sick ( and nobody has to worry about him contaminating their food because as commendable as he is and as much as it is not his fault, thats kinda gross.)

So…he went to work sick where he prepared people’s food for a living instead of calling out (since they pay peanuts and he probably couldn’t afford to take off). Great.
