Only 4 days, amateur. I’m so bad at talking I endup ghosting anyone.
exactly. 96 hours is rookie numbers.
I’ll do this but it will be years later
Same legitimately the once every two years I log into my dusty old insta account and see I have a message.

Who cares? Texting is meant to be a convenience, not something that demands my attention. That’s the beauty of texting vs a phone call - I have time to think and do other things before replying

I agree to a limit. If I’m just posting stupid yt videos to someone then who cares.
But if I’m talking to someone and they don’t answer for 4 days(I give 1 day or so, personally), I’m not bothering with that person again.
Texting is a form of communication, just like email is.
You can say it’s a “convenience” all you want, but so is the telephone then.
Why don’t you just walk to the person’s house and speak to them?

Counter point, if someone needs to speak to me urgently why aren’t they calling/visiting?

I’ll be hiding from solicitors. If you need to speak to me, break into my house and start the conversation at gunpoint.

Agreed. I dont get why people get upset by these things (assuming its not a time-sensitive discussion, of course)
