With the elections nearing and the Biden-Harris administration still being complicit in Genocide there is but one way for crocodile tear liberals to fix the issue: Start banning anyone who comments about the Biden administration being complicit in Genocide.
/Politics mod JordanLund who also mods /WorldNews decides Biden has nothing to do with the Genocide in Gaza
JordanLund banned users in the past for questioning israel’s right to exist. JordanLund now takes it one step further and is now spreading misinformation about israel not running out of weapons without American support so Biden and Harris are “not complicit in Genocide”:
I link him a guardian article proving he is lying (JordanLund has deleted my comment which just quoted a Guardian article debunking his lies):
Recent reports in the Israeli press make clear that because of a global shortage of ammunition that started with the Ukraine war, Israel would not be able to sustain its bombardment of Gaza without the US resupplying the Israeli military.
JordanLund responds by calling TheGuardian misinformation, promptly bans me and says he supports the “rightful defense of israel”.
He also piles on more lies and claims the only weapons being sent by Biden are Interceptor missiles which are “misappropriated by israel for the use in Genocide”?
Reuters Exclusive: US has sent Israel thousands of 2,000-pound bombs since Oct. 7
Between the war’s start last October and recent days, the United States has transferred at least 14,000 of the MK-84 2,000-pound bombs
Lemmy.World has reached /Politics and /WorldNews communities which differ little from their Reddit counterpart.

FYI, readers of /politics are very familiar with Linkerbaan and his nonstop hammering of a single wedge issue from a single narrow viewpoint. To be honest, I believe the mod made the correct choice.

Genocide is kinda big deal dude.

Yeah. Only problem is that op wants people to let trump take the Whitehouse, so it’s clear they have ulterior motives.

Making personal attacks against people who agree that it’s a big deal but say that voting third party is counterproductive, though, is hammering a wedge issue from a narrow viewpoint.
Tho problem for me isn’t viewing the genocide as bad. I am in full agreement there. The problem is the response to people who disagree about the most effective way to stop it.

You believe that i should be permabanned from politics for linking an article saying israel would have ran out of weapons if not for Joe Biden resupplying them?
FYI readers, Aubeynarf is also a frequent poster on /Politics. You can guess what type of “nuanced viewpoint” he posts.

No, but banning someone for questioning Israel’s right to exist is reasonable, since that’s advocating for genocide.
I can see someone eventually getting fed up with the one-sided narrative, and it’s true that Israel would not actually have ran out of weapons. We are not the exclusive supplier to Israel, simply the most convenient for them. They are capable of domestic manufacture and purchasing from other entities.

What choice? Last I heard they reversed a bunch of his band and decided against banning him from .world, which is what should’ve been done

This is a major issue. There are over 40,000 already counted dead and most are civilians. Dismissing the US’s aid in the destruction is disgusting.
…and your 2nd paragraph is whining about what you yourself are doing in your first. Gross

Pointing out someone’s patterns of behaviour on a thread they started about their own behaviour is not an ad hominem attack. It’s an on-topic discussion of the point at hand.
Calling someone who agrees that an ongoing genocide is dreadful but believes the suggested course of action will make it worse a genocide enabler, on the other hand, is an ad hominem.
