The more I see this image the louder this thought becomes in my head, “Whoever unearthed this artifact had to fight every human impulse to just slip this into a pocket and take it home as the absolute coolest knickknack to sit on their curio shelf.”

Hedgehogs actually are quite fast!

I fail to see how this refutes the idea that hedgehogs should be faster.

Boar Vessel, 600-500 BC, Estruscan, ceramic VS hedgehog on wheels, Susa, 1500-2000 BC
Who would win?

If the hedgehog has the seven chaos emeralds, it can still take on the boar even with the triforce of power.
If not, then it’s more of a toss up, but we should note that there is one registered instance of the hedgehog collecting triforce pieces so my bet would still be on the hedgehog.

Hedgehog, obviously. Though they didn’t know it then, the boar vessel etruscan represents dr. eggman

It’s an ancient artifact, so he was likely still called Robotnik back then.
