This seems very much like just a fun jab that immediately breaks the ice, if someone doesn’t go for a second date because of this alone I think they are too easily offended.

This could be a yellow flag for a lot of people and hey, good for them if they don’t wanna deal with this and potentially worsening behaviour in the future, have nothing to do with easily offended. Have to see how the actual date goes tho.
