The only time Superman gets any drama is when people he cares about are in danger.

Superman has always been boring since he is so powerful it’s not like there are situations where he doesn;t just overpower everyone by just being powerful.

The whole point of Superman when it’s good is restraint and decision making, even while completely overpowering the enemy.
The ones where he’s the villain are especially good. Explored in some Superman releases, and also the whole premise of The Boys.
But I fucking loved Smallville for a while, I don’t even care if you have issues with it.
