Well I just need to get a gpu. I already have an i7-8700 and 16gb ram, so I will price shop used stuff here and see if there is a good deal.
- Comment on Security engineer ports Linux to PS5, runs GTA V 1 day ago:
I actually have that. I want something with a bit more power.
- Comment on Security engineer ports Linux to PS5, runs GTA V 1 day ago:
Oh? I’ll have to check if they are available in the country where I live. They were not when I checked a few months ago.
- Comment on Security engineer ports Linux to PS5, runs GTA V 1 day ago:
Oh, yeah. I mean I want more computing power. I have a hub for my laptop which works great for the steamdeck.
- Comment on Security engineer ports Linux to PS5, runs GTA V 1 day ago:
I would totally buy a ps5 if I could just use it as a steam machine.
The steamdeck is my most powerful system at the moment and i’m getting a stiff neck playing in handheld mode these days anyway.
So if im going to be plugged in, I might as well.
My other option is to get a gpu and use my home server that has an i7-8700.
That’s honestly, probably the way to go.
- Comment on The new Voyager game was pretty bad. 1 week ago:
It’s great that they finally added that. I guess I don’t get it as I just put my steamdeck into sleep mode between sessions to not lose progress.
Hopefully they revamp the game with a 2.0 patch.

- Comment on Xbox CEO Asha Sharma shares her gamertag — what it reveals 2 weeks ago:
To be fair, my Xbox gamer tag is pretty lacking as I’m mainly a pcgamer and retro gamer. So hopefully that is the case with her.
But to be honest, from my perspective, Xbox is already lower on the scale to me that it can get worse in any measurable way.
- Comment on Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse - Announcement Trailer 3 weeks ago:
I agree with your opinion about bloodstained. I played it a bit recently, and I think that 3d/2d style is pretty horrendous.
I think it is done to save cost as it is easier to make a game with 3d models than it is to use 2d sprites.
- Comment on Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse - Announcement Trailer 3 weeks ago:
Yeah, it is too bright.
- Comment on Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse - Announcement Trailer 3 weeks ago:
I’m not a fan of the art style to be honest

In the interview he said he can see himself doing stardew 2 at some point but he didn’t know if he wanted to do new characters or the same ones.

I’ve been gaming my whole life, without a doubt, I’ve put the most hours into this game.
I truly love it and buy a copy for every platform that I have.
If he does haunted chocolatier, I will day 1 buy it just to support him.
If he does a stardew 2, i think a new cas of characters would be cool because we already know the current cast. Maybe they could make an appearance or one or two of them could be in this town.
Now, I want to play this game again.
- Comment on What is the definitive way to play certain games? 5 weeks ago:
I have been thinking of whether there was a pokemon mod that does something like this.
I’d like something that gets rid of trade evolutions and puts all 151 in a single game.
I’m sure it’s out there. So, I guess that’s my half assed attempt at an answer.

I know a lot of people are looking forward to this game and in a way I hope they get a great game. They enjoy on the other hand. I hope this is a huge flop for rockstar.

- Comment on Twilight Princess decompilation project reaches 99% completion 2 months ago:
Yeah, I’m sure it will be. I just need to make time for it. Currently playing pokemon za and after that I’m going to play Metroid prime 3 before I play 4.

It will be cool to get a pc port of this.
I’ve been meaning to replay this game as I have basically 0 memory of it.
- Comment on Do you cheat in video games? 3 months ago:
Haha, that never occurred to me. That’s a cool one.
I wanted to make it shoot plasma grenades, but at first it just blew up in my face, then it lobbed plasma grenades in front of me.
Eventually I changed the impact of the bullet on each object in the game so it would explode like a plasma grenade instead of giving off the impact animation.
Took forever.
I wonder if I can still install that old version anywhere and mess with the hex codes.
- Comment on Do you cheat in video games? 3 months ago:
In the original halo on PC I modded the game so the rifle was shoot out banshees instead of bullets. I also made the warthog fly. I guess now that I’m typing this is was not really cheating as it was a 1v1 match and we got to screw around with the mods is did.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean, but if I understand you correctly, I think the same logic can be applied to using n OS of choice.
I still think it’s an issue of priority.

In 2016, Burridge and Linden studied a slightly different measure, the time it took water samples to reach 0 °C but not freeze. They carried out their own experiments, and reviewed previous work by others. Their review noted that the large effects observed in early experiments had not been replicated in other studies of cooling to the freezing point, and that studies showing small effects could be influenced by variations in the positioning of thermometers: “We conclude, somewhat sadly, that there is no evidence to support meaningful observations of the Mpemba effect.”
From the Wikipedia article.

I don’t think this is true. Just a myth or it only occurs in certain circumstances.

Thanks for this list.
I played the Metroid game and I love that series.
I’m not sure I liked smt4 too much, but I’m not familiar with the others. I’ll check them out.
I got a 3dsxl about 6 months ago for some Pokémon action, now I need something new.

What good are those 3 games you want to play if they don’t work on the OS you want to use?
It’s just a matter of priority, about 8 years ago, I just made the decision to not play a game if it doesn’t work on Linux.
