I’d add 4 into that list. I really hated that game. I never played 5 though. Maybe I should give it a go.

I just started Shin Megami Tensi 4 on the 3ds. It’s my first time playing a game in this series and it seems cool. Maybe after I get through that.

I can’t find it now and I do not think it really applies here. But someone stated that being high IQ could lead to academic problems as the high IQ learner would understand or see things that the professor could not causing the professor to mark it as incorrect.
I guess this is the idiocracy version of it.
- Comment on A Sealed Copy Of Fallout 3 DLC Is Selling For Over $2,000, And Fans Have No Idea Why 2 weeks ago:
I don’t really think so, the person buying it would need to use laundered money to buy it otherwise it could draw suspicion.

Same, a large breakfast makes me feel queasy too. I never met another person like this. I usually don’t eat until noon.
But, 10AM and later, I’m not queasy.

- Comment on After a lengthy legal battle and billion-dollar loss, 'Fortnite' is back on iOS 4 weeks ago:
No, Epic just recently won the court case against Apple. The Epic submitted this game to the App Store after winning, but Apple didn’t approve or reject it.
Epic then brought another court case against Apple for not approving their app and now, without going to court, the app is back on the App Store.

You talk about them like they are en elementary school child, but it’s very fitting.

I’m pretty sure all Nintendo consoles have had a problem with being hacked. As far back as the Wii, people were able to run hombrew pretty quickly.
I think Nintendo just sucks at console security or maybe they are a bigger target due to their exclusives.

The problem is when a new game is released that requires an update to a later firmware version.
I think I’ve had it before where the updates applied to the system from the game card.
Unless I misunderstood what was happening. We will have to wait for someone to figure that out.
I’m rooting for someone to home brew the switch 2 ASAP

Or at least a drm free installer.
I guess I’ll stock up on gog installers for games I own on Steam if Steam ever becomes the villain.
- Comment on Would you like to see a mainline Pokemon game created in the old style? 1 month ago:
I hate all the gimmicky mechanics so, I’d be down with getting rid of all that stuff like go back to gen1 before berries and holding items to increase power and stuff.
But I do not want to have to switch boxes to hold Pokémon on the PC or have limited storage for held items.
I wouldn’t mind a 2d version, but maybe they could draw inspiration from the Zelda 2d remakes.

OMG! Yes! classic doom had some of the most frustrating level designs. I started to hate the game after being lost forever on some maps.

I got lost a few times in that game as a kid. I do not htink it is too bad these days. I think it was a matter of being put in a significantly larger world from what we were used to.
I’ve played it so many times at this point, I think I could navigate it without enemies or needing to click on consoles it with my eyes closed.

Across the street from my friend’s house, there was a mini forest There was a clearing inside, so people would hangout there, some people made bike trails and stuff like that.
At one point some people brought in a wooden picnic bench. So, my friend carved out a place on the bench to smoke weed form.
tldr - I smoked weed out of a picnic bench.
- Comment on Generational differences 1 month ago:
We would put it in a empty water bottle and cut a small hole in the back and blow out through that so the smoke would me amied out the window.
It was dumb, becuase it did not take the smoke from burning the weed in the first place into account.

I’m really not getting into it. I’m near the end of the main quest line and it was fun at first, but it’s just become repetitive and it makes just want to play Skyrim again instead.

Same, if my steamdeck can’t run it then I don’t play it. I love portable gaming so much because I can just be around the house or quickly suspend the game if something comes up.
Additionally it seems all the new games are pretty boring, maybe I’m just getting old, but I don’t care about graphics at all, just give me a fun game.
I’m actually playing the original oblivion right now and have no problems or complaints about the graphics, it’s just not important to me.
- Comment on Is The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion still fun for a first-time player in 2025? 1 month ago:
As far as I know, the new version didn’t change a single thing other than graphics and maybe some bugs. Right now, I am doing an oblivion gate and I am just running through without fighting anyone. I actually just turned my steamdeck on and was in the last room. It was too easy and much better that way.
