  Depose and Delay are interchangeable in this phrase; I’ve seen it written both ways

    Deny, Delay, Defend is the title of a book about insurance written in 2010.

    Deny, Defend, Depose is what the shooter had written on the shell casings.

    depose also means removing someone from their position, so that is more appropriate for the bullet.
