Why are the panels swapped? Makes more sense if you read the right panel before the left.
Or do I not get some context/meme?

Japanese itself is read right to left. When translating it to English they blanked out the text in the speech bubbles but didnt flip the image.

I forget the Japanese name, but this is Delicious in Dungeon. I’m not generally into anime, but this manga’s adaptation on Netflix is delightfully bonkers.

I’ve always liked the feeling of the protagonists being stuck in a rut of feeling like they’re barely getting by, while their combined creativity is enough to get them farther than anyone has managed in the dungeon with inferior supplies.

I also enjoy the exploration of “What of TTRPG/CRPG tropes actually had to be lived out?” and the occasional infusion of new people who find them to be insane dietary deviants (which they may well be… that walking mushroom from the intro is adorable).
