Stab complete. Nurse was nice. Sitting around for 15 minutes and looking forward to getting back under my blanket.
Good chance Iâll get side effects because Iâd put off the booster for too long. Iâm not usually afraid of needles unless itâs an injection. Then they fuck with me. Blood tests? Ez pz go ahead hereâs my veins theyâre very visible (I get compliments all the time).
Injections? What if something goes wrong? What if my arm doesnât stop bleeding? What if I get side effects? Iâll do it next week! doesnât do it next week
Unlike my other big irrational fear, I can just shut this one off by reminding myself that thatâs stupid and Iâm being an idiot. Then I just avoid looking at it and donât feel a thing.
The fear has returned a bit now that Iâm sitting for 11 of 15 minutes and every slight feeling could be a lethal side effect woah aaaa!
Damn, me, if only you were in basically one of the best places to experience a side effect right now and have nothing to worry about even if you are right.
Okay thatâs my ramble. The Morning Show is on and I needed to focus on less unpleasant things like serious side effects.

Flu shot was a total non event this year. 0 side effects and hardly even hurt.

I had no side effects from either. I didnât have them together though. Definitely worth it either way, everyone seems to be sick lately.

Everyone is sick lol I read that ABC article about the flu, covid, and RSV, and everyone seems to have at least one.
They also highlighted that with no mandatory reporting of covid cases, itâs difficult to determine just how prevalent it is in the community. Though, anecdotally, everyone seems to be catching it.
