Moleskin should work. Also wear dress socks under your regular socks. You’ll get fewer blisters.

This is the first I’m hearing about double socking needing to be dress socks, are you sure that’s a thing?

Not really, but because dress socks tend to be thinner, they won’t feel as bad as two regular socks in one boot.

Yeah, I learned it from guys in the army. It’s because dress socks reduce friction, and the normal socks absorb swet.

Why doesn’t the army just make blister-preventing socks?
That really sounds like some amazing government invention that gets everywhere. Like accelerometers. Or Tang.
