I see it more as like a deviation from the mental picture of someone you have/hanging onto in your head. Not saying its healthy but like the guy hadn’t moved on yet and is still hanging on to the memories of them together, being faithful, and dedicated to one another. Learning about multiple new partners further solidifies that their time is over and the real person isn’t the same as the person you knew them as. Coming to terms with that can be stressful. I personally think you can feel this way without actually believing you “own” the person.

It’s understandable to want bad thing to happen to bad people. But where I lost empathy for OOP was when he got sad about her banging a bunch of dudes long after the breakup. It implies he feels like she belongs to him forever, or something.

How the fuck do you get that take from all of this?
I haven’t been with my ex for a couple years now and would still feel uncomfortable finding out she went on a dick spree.
Like y’all will come up with any reason to make a hurt dude look even more pathetic than they already do. Just cause you ain’t with a person anymore doesn’t mean you don’t still want to be or that you’re okay with them fucking other people.
If he had tried to punish her for it or some shit like that it’d be one thing but honestly the biggest loser in this story is the friends that told him in the first place.

No but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t still suck. That’s my point here.

Hate to be pedantic, but last week I borrowed my friend’s cart battery and lost it.
