I tried them some years ago. Meal was perfectly fine but agree thereâs so much packaging, and didnât really save any kitchen time. I think itâs main benefit would be to take away the mental load of planning meals. Personally if I need convenience I prefer to grab one of those premade meals from supermarket like a youfoodz. They arenât brilliant but are healthier than takeaway. Gets the job done when no time to cook.

just tried Hello Fresh for the first time because a friend sent me free boxes.
It wasâŠfine.
Lots of packaging for stuff I have in my kitchen anyway, and a very simple meal. Taste was quite nice.

yeah, when I canât be bothered thinking about what to eat, a bag of salad and a bit of protein (whatever I feel like at the time) takes no time to cook, is cheap and healthy.

also, huge calorie load compared to my normal meals.
You mean you donât usually cook all your meals with 8 Tablespoons of olive oil?
(seriously, why do all the meal kits insist on cooking with soooo much olive oil!)

Would home delivery from a supermarket or QVC be comparable?

not sure- never done either, as I tend to trip chain and just walk through the supermarket each day as I come home from work/the beach/wherever (if I need any food)

Iâve always avoided these sort of things because of the terrifying quantity of packaging a friend showed me was involved in one she tried. Single apples do not need a nest thing and a vac bag!!
