Should be, and usually is, but if you've never been in a healthy relationship you may not expect it. Especially if you've been in an unhealthy relationship.

I mean, it’s your gf. Standard stuff tbh

I remember my husband-then-boyfriend being super happy he could just ask me to do stuff and I’d do it. I mean, yeah, of course, that’s how relationships work?
Took me a long time to figure out that for most of his previous relationship, that really wasn’t so obvious.

That's pretty much my story as well. Early into my first healthy relationship I was in, my gf stopped by my work to drop me off a donut. Just happened to be showing nearby and thought of me.
That shit was outright mindblowing to me at the time consider I had a negative sense of self worth.

How do you go from husband to boyfriend without breaking up?
Tar_alcaran@sh.itjust.works 10 months ago
Now husband, then boyfriend.

It’s not really standard. Lots of people are terrible at giving gifts.

I’m grateful for anything I get, but honestly this year all I could think in my head with every gift I received was “do you guys even know me?”

A standard green flag, for sure.
