Anyhow, we’re Lemmings, and lemmitors is one of the dumbest things I’ve seen someone trying to force into a lexicon.
- Comment on 'We've lost a partner and a friend': Ukrainians somber as U.S. partnership disintegrates 1 day ago:
Lemmitors? Do you just try to find the way to be a contrarian to everything normalized?

You actively use alts enough to comment in the same thread with different ones about how unpopular you are on a regular basis? Bro, what’s the link to your YouTube/TikTok/video account where you upload your crazy ramblings? I want to watch the degradation live before it’s in a complication video of insane people on the Internet.

What kind of absolute psychopath posts a news article only to come down in the comments and specifically say they disagree with everyone on the topic and simultaneously they don’t care about what the article is even about? That’s next level unhinged shit.

- Comment on Amazon's previous VP of Prime Gaming said they "tried everything" to disrupt Steam 1 day ago:
LMFAO, I love when someone says they tried everything when it’s so blatantly obvious they didn’t really try anything.
Both Epic and Amazon seemed to believe that if you gave out enough free games then Steam would just… Disappear? Really really dumb.
Neither company has invested any time into making their launcher any good. They haven’t invested any time into making their ecosystem feature rich like Steam. They have just given away a bunch of games and had sales and hoped that magic would take care of the rest.
Valve doesn’t even have to try to beat the competition when the competition doesn’t put any effort in.
GoG Galaxy is the only decent alternative launcher I’ve used and it’s being maintained (seemingly) by one guy who only works one day a year. It’s not as good as Steam by a long shot, but far far better than any of the launchers that come from companies WAY WAY bigger and wealthier. Even the itch.io launcher is better!!!
Blizzard, Amazon, Epic, EA, Ubisoft, and Rockstar (and more) all have their own launchers and not a single one is decent or necessary. Why make such an inferior product when Steam already exists?
- Comment on GameStop selling 500+ stores because of "woke". 1 day ago:
Tons of research says you’re wrong. Psychopaths and other people with mental issues that diminish their ability to have empathy are absolutely more successful in business than their counterparts. Because capitalism is could, cruel, and uncaring about anyone or anything.
- Comment on GameStop selling 500+ stores because of "woke". 1 day ago:
I’m truly failing to think of any major game publisher not making money from children gambling. Nintendo does it, so do Sony and Microsoft. Unless it’s an indie publisher with a small handful of games, basically every single company is guilty of this.

- Comment on Anon sees a happy couple 1 day ago:
Fair point, however the family in question won’t be as ignorantly cruel to a son. They’ll probably fuck him up in some other ways, but at least not ones that cause him daily constant dread and depression.
Also I hope things get better for your mental state, I’m sure you’re far more attractive than you believe, just like my wife and the girl in OP.
- Comment on Anon notices some millennial writing tropes 1 day ago:
The main characters aren’t left and the villains aren’t right; it’s just that leftists are generally decent people and the right is actually, no hyperbole, nazis.
- Comment on Anon sees a happy couple 1 day ago:
You’re right, but also, they weren’t faking it. My wife is gorgeous, but every single day we’ve been together she’s announced how fat and ugly she is (she’s neither). It’s a deep mental issue and they really believe that shit. Usually it’s caused by their parents at a young age. My wife’s family is really really gross with young girls. They all start playing in make-up by the age of 2. I’ve already seen it in her poor niece, calling herself ugly… She’s 4 and already has a completely fucked up mentality about beauty and her role in society. It’s soul crushing, and I knew it was going to happen the second she was born. I fear for us having a daughter and them doing this to her enough when I’m not around that she is affected the same way. I really hope I have a son for this reason, honestly.
- Comment on Anon sees a happy couple 1 day ago:
I love my wife but she’s totally hypocritical about this. Couldn’t care less about any game story I think is deep and engaging, but wants me to know about all about Onyx Storm and Throne of Glass.

- Comment on Venezuelan Migrant Sent to Guantánamo Bay Is ‘Not a Criminal,’ Family Pleads 1 week ago:
I hate you say it, but it’s kind of right in a way. Those of us who knew right from wrong and let it slide by because the wrong was coming from our family and friends and loved ones and we ignored it long enough to fester to the point we have a full on nazi party again. It’s not our fault these people are vile soulless creatures, but it’s our fault for doing nothing about all the obvious signs that have been present for decades.

Yeah, almost none of them are. That’s not the point for conservatives. The point is that they’re brown.

Unpopular opinion ITT, but apparently one I share with critics: those movies were hot garbage. I caught the beginning of the second one starting and thought I’d give it a shot and quit about 20 minutes in because it was just so goofy and lacking depth.

I own a lot of games on GoG, but I fail to see the practical difference. If GoG were to go under, there’s not going to be any free service hosting all your data and the games for download. It all disappears, just like if Steam were to go under.

I can’t fathom how anyone has an issue with Steam, they’re one of the only straight shooters in the game.
