… But it is FF7. It’s not a new game.

Conservatives don’t care that she’s blowing gas on planes. They think she’s somehow manipulating the election
- Comment on Would Nuclear Weapons be as destructive in ship to ship space combat, as they are on the ground in an atmosphere? 10 months ago:
Yeah that’s why any reasonable hard sci-fi has to rely on highly advanced fusion or speculative energy technologies
- Comment on Would Nuclear Weapons be as destructive in ship to ship space combat, as they are on the ground in an atmosphere? 10 months ago:
That’s true in a vacuum, but a weapon would presumably detonate on the surface of a hostile ship, in which case the ship goes bye-bye.

Bruh this reads like it was written by a 15 year old.

It’s not really standard. Lots of people are terrible at giving gifts.
- Comment on Anon gets a job 10 months ago:
I’m at one of those companies and they’re just as greedy and cutthroat as anyone else. I really can’t imagine why you think that’s limited to fintech or startups.
- Comment on Eurogamer readers' top 50 games of 2023 10 months ago:
It should be bg3 just based on how much influence it’s having on the industry alone.
Picking totk as the #1 game this year is just contrarian nonsense.
- Comment on Eurogamer readers' top 50 games of 2023 10 months ago:
For real, how is totk better than bg3 from any point of view? It’s basically a rehash of botw with very little in terms of new ideas. Nintendo fanboyism is the lamest thing in gaming. And Eurogamer is increasingly becoming contrarian for the sake of being contrarian. I used to enjoy their articles a lot

It’s too late for us, once the end comes and we’ve split into multiple countries we’ll finally have the opportunity for genuine reform

Nah I’m sure calling science students “stemfags” and generally acting like a 4chan dickwad is super attractive to the ladies
- Comment on Steam keeps on winning 10 months ago:
You can’t solve this problem with money. People don’t want multiple can get launchers. It’s like asking why Apple hasn’t cornered the desktop market when they’re one of the largest companies in the world.
Valve 100% knew what they were doing with HL2.
- Comment on Steam keeps on winning 10 months ago:
It would be nice but I like Heroic launcher a lot. I probably wouldn’t bother installing a gog Linux client.
- Comment on Steam keeps on winning 10 months ago:
Even closer? Implying that steam ever cared about digital ownership?
- Comment on Steam keeps on winning 10 months ago:
Because there’s no money in Linux. Valve can afford to target Linux for long term growth because they aren’t a public company that has to answer to investors every quarter. People mistake that for valve being pro-consumer, which they’re not.
- Comment on Steam keeps on winning 10 months ago:
Lol it is literally steam’s fault and they intended to be this way from the very beginning. They intentionally cornered the market with HL2. It’s incredible how people act like this shit just accidentally happened because valve made a supposedly good product.
- Comment on Fallout 3: GOTY Edition is free to keep for the next 24 hours on the Epic Games Store 10 months ago:
For real, Steam literally took off because they made HL2 exclusive to it. It doesn’t matter that it’s a first party game, the effect and intent was identical. They could’ve made it generally available but chose not to. They forced people to use their proprietary product to install a game.
It’s crazy how many people shill for valve on Reddit and lemmy when they’ve already done most of the shit Epic gets accused of.

- Comment on Here's your mirror kings 11 months ago:
Lmao. It’s beyond pathetic how hard people try to paint literally anything as antisemitic. Do you actually think anyone takes this kind of comment seriously? It’s such a ridiculous stretch.
Not to mention that to set it up in the first place, you had to lie and downplay Netanyahu’s involvement with Hamas as if it doesn’t matter. Lies on top of lies. You must think the rest of us are so fucking stupid.
- Comment on Here's your mirror kings 11 months ago:
So? Israel is on the same side as white supremacists and far right Christian extremists. Your logical faculties are garbage.

It’s telling that you can’t imagine doing anything other than mass murdering civilians.

The playerbase already dipped below Skyrim on steam. I really doubt that this game will have the usual Bethesda longevity.
- Comment on You guys need to stop 1 year ago:
Modern CVTs will always beat manual transmissions in efficiency now. And probably reliability with reputable brands as well. It’s only a matter of time for consumers to catch up at this point.
- Comment on You guys need to stop 1 year ago:
Same with my Subaru. Staying away from the questionable brands like Nissan and Kia is the key. Never had an issue with my push start or CVT.
- Comment on You guys need to stop 1 year ago:
I had a Sentra once upon a time with a Jatco CVT that worked fine. Bunch of other shit wrong with that cat though. So that’s two guys now
- Comment on You guys need to stop 1 year ago:
Jatco CVTs are notoriously garbage. Subaru makes their own cvt and it’s pretty good. Between that and the direct interaction engine my Forester gets better mileage than my wife’s old accord.
