Comment on Martha Stewart's actual Halloween costume
OwOarchist@pawb.social 2 days agoDude, just pirate stuff. Pirated TV doesn’t have commercials.

Even so, I would still pirate shit.
Paramount+ or whatever comes for free with me paying for my internet connection. I’ve never used it even once. Even if what I’m watching is available there legally and for free, I’d rather pirate it. Piracy is just a better user experience.

I recently setup IPTV and it’s like having Interdimensional Cable from Rick and Morty. Wanna know what’s on local Haitian television? You can! Wanna watch any/every PPV or ABC/NBC/FOX/CBS affiliate in the country? You can! It has it all and then some for like $50/year, I think? Between that and Stremio/Torrentio, no need for any subscriptions.

Woah, what now? What is this and how do I get it?

As another user said, you can technically get it all for free, but I was looking for something simple I could get up-and-running on my parents’ Fire TV stick/living room TV, so I paid the $50 for a year of SacoTV: sacotv.com
I’m pretty sure it’s just one guy in Eastern Europe running the thing, so you have to be willing to be a little patient and exchange a couple of messages, but it has honestly been just about as reliable as normal cable. Occasionally the EPG (channel guide) loses sync, but honestly, it has taken all of the pain out of watching any live sports, and it also includes a huge on-demand library that’s nearly competitive with Stremio. And they offer a free 24-hour trial, so there’s not much to lose. I like TiviMate as the app that handles it all. You just get TiviMate installed then punch in the server/login details they provide.
There are tons of others out there, but I’m pretty sure a significant number are legit scams, so finding the actual provider is the hardest part.

There’s a bunch of services that make it easy to use, streaming box and automatically updated streams so you don’t have to have any technical knowledge. They’re all technically black market and buying the subscription is often a weird process through WhatsApp, they’re very popular with international markets.
I’m only familiar with two Arabic targeted ones (but they have all the American channels as well), Spider TV and HydraTV.
I don’t use them, because 1 I don’t really watch live tv and 2 I’m not paying for something I can get for free.
