The motorcycle diaries were written before any of his revolutionary actions, and pretty sure they didn’t involve murder. The new man was about sacrificing yourself for the revolution and being more interested in being productive for the new communist society, at least from my understanding. So don’t see how any of that was supporting the meme. The labor camps are absolutely fucked up, but I don’t think Che himself specifically wanted any of the people listed to be put in labor camps.

And it says he murdered those people which implies targeted killing. So misleading at best, and possibly intentionally misleading. He had enough flaws without making up shit.
