Good thing then that every machine that plays games is basically the same nowadays. 20 years ago this would have cost the team at least a year.

Game pass exclusives? Yes. Xbox/game pass cloud only games? Not that I’m aware of, but never say never. If they announced gta vi was game pass cloud early access for a release only they’d get millions of sales. Game pass cloud vastly limiting what you get? Yes.
