No way I’m letting a closed source app with internet access remote control of my PC. But I’m glad for everyone looking for something like this and I’m thankful for what they are contributing back.
Although it sounds they are not using Moonlight / Sunshine, I believe they forked Apollo / Artemis.

Easier, yes. But that’s not something you can just download and run is it ? It requires tinkering. Only an advanced user will go through that. Mainstream users will keep being unable play that way.

My kids use it every day. I use it on long trips. But proton changed the whole linux gaming scene. And now there’s rumors of a Steam console (Fremont). I will definately be buying that along with 2 Steam Controllers (gen2).

After my PS3 got the YLOD, I considered about purchasing a PS4, and then I thought: I would have to start from zero since it doesn’t have backwards compatibility. So, I went back to PC and my whole catalogue was there waiting for me. They are indeed a trap.
