Those ones actually work better. The short, sharp shock ones can be hit at speed if you have a good suspension. The slow ones like that will lift the rear end off the ground if you go too fast, they’re way more effective.

The effective term, at least in Southern California for the low long ones are ‘humps’ as opposed to the short tall ‘speed bumps’.

  There are also “speed tables” that are even longer and are flat-topped with sloped sides.
