As a ”Just coffee, black” guy, I’ve never had this problem in any coffee shop ever

Because it’s just the imaginings of someone who thinks they’re superior for wanting their coffee black.

(Also, lol, why would you ever go to a coffee shop for that? You can very easily make it at home. Even when traveling, a lot of hotels can provide you with plain coffee just fine.)

Because you like coffee and don’t want to carry a thermos all day?

I mean black coffee is pretty much by definition the base ingredient for all other coffee derivates. It’s insane to think a barista couldn’t handle it

“Grrr, I hate this customer! They’re making me do less work than usual!”

At the very most they’d just ask if you want an Americano or just drip coffee

Indeed. If you have an espresso machine you just pull a shot or two and top it up with hot water instead of milk.

      Fucken coffee, black, straight up.
