I went to read a few articles after seeing this post. They all cite “fans” criticizing “body-shaming” her for being “too thin”. I don’t think those people ever knew someone who had anorexia or how dangerous this is.

For what I have heard, it’s a deadly disease, no way out. But maybe medicine has moved forward since that was true.

It can be deadly, but you can recover from it. I do not think you can ever be really cured of the mentality, but it is possible to get it under control.

Yeah a loved one of mine was hospitalized and institutionalized for it for a brief time years ago. They’ve since learned to control it and be generally pretty healthy in size.
