When I was apartment hunting in Paris some 20 years ago I stumbled across one like this, but it was built on a sort of drawer so that the toilet slid out forward.
Imagine making food for your invites and one of them has to take a shit.
Another was a combined shower and “turkish toilet” (a hole in the ground), just remove the floor in the shower and shit apparently.
Wild times.

It has become wildly better here in Bordeaux though, in the city there are basically no incivilities any more, but they have done a tremendous job to get there. Get outside of the city (in the suburbs) and it’s still drive as fast as you can without thinking like before.

Fair enough about Facebook, I think you did the right thing! But I have already stumbled onto your link as a source for “gas stoves bad”, and it’s just not true.
This is part of the short abstract (from your link):

I’d emphasize the If kitchens are not well ventilated so for me it’s as obvious as saying electric stoves are dangerous if the wiring isn’t well done. Or, gas stoves are not dangerous, like bicycles aren’t etc.
