Itâs been years now, but are you saying that BBQ joints donât have Spanish speaking employees? Is that a Texas only thing?
baronvonj@piefed.social â¨2⊠â¨weeks⊠ago
Mac is mistaken. There are Spanish speaking employees all over the food service industry in Texas.
Crashumbc@lemmy.world â¨2⊠â¨weeks⊠ago
Most of the US in fact, especially any decent sized city.
StupidBrotherInLaw@lemmy.world â¨2⊠â¨weeks⊠ago
Truth. My favorite Japanese restaurant in the States had a primarily South American immigrant staffed kitchen.

Have youâ˝ I was born in Texas. Lived here the last 24 years, and 32 of the last 34. Even asian restaurants here have kitchens full of Spanish speaking people.
