Unfortunately while I do like the fediverse, the mod tools are woefully lacking. Piefed implemented pretty basic user scores as a mitigating factor and… well it didn’t go over great with large parts of the community.

How is a brand new account able to just start spamming posts like this? I’m surprised new accounts, or accounts that haven’t posted, aren’t either rate limited or need to have the post approved by a mod.
Also, what a loser.

He’s actually potentially a ped*phile, but sure, loser will do

Here on the fediverse it’s called a pedophile.

Definitely a pedophile. Definitely. Loves little boys in tootoos/girls’ ballet outfits, it seems by his image portfolio, and eating kids’ heads on cakes.

I mean… for every one of these guys there are like 10,000 people behaving perfectly well.
I don’t think it’s necessary to impose those types of rules - people like him will still do it, but then all of a sudden there’s an economy for aged accounts, etc.
Regular block/ban/ignore/move on hygiene is necessary

I do think rate limiting new accounts would solve a lot of problems though. A new user could post something if they have a question to ask, for example, or something they really want to post, but it limits the damage someone like this can do.
