Comment on Teserract may be opensource, but adding myself would feel disingenuous

Didn’t make the list, what have I been doing with my time

Time to start breaking out some Molotovs bud. As my old pal Mel B would say… Spice up your life🔥
I honestly have no idea why I’m on there. There are folks who I consider absolutely stand up characters on the list (one is a relatively recent account who mostly posts funny memes and pictures of her dogs) and I feel like I’m generally sound enough. It’s a really arbitrary mix and the reasoning he posted in his defence was self indulgent, panic driven nonsense.
Still glad I’ve made the grade though.

What’s it mean if I’m in the regex?
khannie@lemmy.world 1 day ago
It means you made the blacklist. Anyone who was using the tesseract UI would have had your stuff filtered out without them knowing.

Sweet, fuck em!

I haven’t looked in the code itself, but I would guess it just matches your username regardless of instance.
Maiq@piefed.zip 1 day ago
He’s blocked whole instances, communities, users by instance, general userRegexes, entire domains and keywords like “What would (france | the french) do”.
Dultas@lemmy.world 19 hours ago
I’m not seeing it in the instance block list.

Fair enough. Someone else mentioned it I thought.
