Indeed. Even stuff like their casino side business with CS skins seems to be often downplayed.
I am not a Valve fanboy.
They are only sort of OK when viewed in comparison to other American technology oligarch groups. I even hesitate to use the term “OK” in this context.

It’s funny because originally I didn’t understand how it was different and when it was explained to me in a factual way I did understand and changed my view and people really don’t like that.

Valve is the best gaming company, who has a storefront (and even consoles / systems to sell). All other suck in comparison and I think Valve is good for the entire gaming industry and the gamers.
