you forget that stuff shows up in your feed.
i have mosted in asklemmy.ml, not realizing it was not asklemmy.world, and yeah people go insane if you post the wrong ‘take’ to the ‘wrong’ instance.
Comment on .ml has got to be the only place on earth where I'd get downvoted for a comment like this

I swear, for the people who’ve yet to experience getting caught in .ml crossfire these constant stories verge on some Jason Voorhees Boogieman shit for me ahaha
Does everyone who finds themselves on lemmygrad just show up to start debates? I’ve never just accidentally wandered into an .ml instance and then felt compelled to start throwing hands about Tiananmen Square lol
This stuff has got to be some of my all time favorite Lemmy lore and I look forward to the day I find a reason to being banned from there too.

When? It has never shown up on my feed unless I’ve gone looking for it. Most of my feed is lemmy.ca and lemmy world
Is your instance federated with them?
I’m not you. My feed is different. When I browse /all and sort by new that is what I see.
When I don’t use all, I don’t see it…
Yes, its got to be that as soon as one of them catches a whiff of this stuff they allll pile in here to defend. Its insane
some other good lemmy lore:
Lmao I have her blocked because I don’t like hornyposting. Personal preference.

Wandering into spaces just to throw hands is usually the basis for most people getting banned or their comments deleted. The content of their commentary is usually notwithstanding at that point.
