My thought as well. Humanizing yourself makes me think about the situation you’re in to be driving door dash and the situation I’m in to be ordering it. I ran into my diaper wipes deliverer yesterday and though should I tip? For delivery from a website, something i don’t tip for. But I made contact with the driver and I was grateful for their service in delivery. I think it’s human nature to be easier to tip light if you can forget a human person was involved

Is it the feet or is it a reminder that a human brought you food.

I think it’s the human aspect. I used to Doordash and there was a noticeable uptick in after-delivery tips when I put a thumbs up in my delivery photos

Correction: because a woman brought them food.

it’s because an attractive woman is bringing them food.

The delivery services I have used do have a small profile photo of the driver so maybe this is correct, but if you’re sad enough to tip more because of feet in a dropoff confirmation picture, you probably don’t care as much if the person is attractive or not.
Also, The random girl in the meme is not the woman who did this in the delivery photos.

i think it’s more of an unconscious thing. doubt they see the photos and think “hot, I’ll tip her more so she comes back”, rather it’s more like those experiments where people tipped more to strippers based on their estrus. 100% subconscious
