Admitting to looting. and he thinks he’s the good guy
Does “liberate” actually imply theft in a way I’m missing? I assumed that meant he bought the chicken when I first read it, but nobody in these comments seems to think that.
Liberate is standard army slang for steal, yes.
“tactically acquired” was a favorite of mine
especially when spelled with quotes.
If he’d bought it he would have just said so. I don’t “liberate” a double cheeseburger, I buy it. With money.
