  I just planted some spearmint hoping to grow it for tea. In a pot with a base so it doesn’t root. hehe root.

    My friend grows all my herbs for me cos I’ve used up all my growing power growing a human. I cbf going around there this weekend. I wanna spend the weekend with my husband doing what you find amusing. 😉

      These are the only places I go for spices, I even make special trips to spice shops.

  My local Coles had fresh mint in the sleeves a few days ago. If you can substitute with peppermint ( stronger flavour?) then maybe pour out the content of a couple of peppermint tea bags, or loose leaf peppermint tea?

    Nah I don’t think it would work. I like using the dried for salad dressing, crumbed lamb cutlets, cucumber soup etc. It’s handy to have in the cupboard. The fresh I use in cold drinks and in salads.

  First I’ve heard of it. Piedmonte’s still has it in little plastic containers. Don’t recommend Psarakos as their herbs are always a bit tired.
