A helping of lasagna would also fit imo, but it is just pasta cake so slice would be most fitting I think

Do people refer to individual units of lasagna as "slices"? Admittedly I've never thought of how to refer to one other than as a plate of lasagna, but I've never heard anyone else use slice, like you would a cake.

admittedly, lasagna is more like cake than you’d imagine.
pasta is made from wheat, like flour. tomatoes are fruit. cheese is the buttercream.
the only thing out of place is the meat.
