Thatās an awful lot to happen in a short space of time. Hope you, husband and daughter are doing as well as can be. Stress can sometimes hit you after the fact, so look after yourself this Xmas and new year!

I donāt really know how to start this but here I go. My husband had a catheter removed in a hospital I didnāt know existed let alone been to. My daughter graduated high school and was also diagnosed as inattentive ADHD all within a week. Phew.
She was in NZ at the time her dad fell sick and I didnāt have the heart to tell her over the phone so when she came home I had to tell her in the garage. She took it really well.
Because I was focused on his recovery I wasnāt able to unpack her diagnosis properly but credit to her she completely understood. Even helped me out with some stuff around the house.
Sheās now on different meds that so far are working. Sheās still my forward thinking, intelligent, compassionate, well mannered, funny, cyclonic, messy baby girl and always will be.
Itās been a crazy month.
Ps. Donāt worry. Iām showered with love and support from them both. I truly am a lucky lady.

It was a very surreal moment in time. I told myself this is not about me and I got on with what I needed to do. Then I had time to myself to decompress. Many many long baths helped with this.
