Comment on Gotta commend them for the effort
ImgurRefugee114@reddthat.com 4 days agoWhen I was experimenting as a quite young teen, I routinely used a 10mm Allen wrench for ‘self exploration.’ One day I wanted to try something bigger but the only thing that fit the bill was the handle of a hammer… Suffice it to say: the blunt end and relatively sharp corners were not kind to my small behind… Life is full of lessons, and some are a pain in the ass.

Someone somewhere asked; they just didn’t know it yet
3 bullet points of excuses
digging the hole deeper i’m afraid
And who asked you? What kind of standard is that? How many posts have been asked for?
It’s classic trauma-dumping behavior. People see a post that is barely related to some part of their lives (meaningless to every one else) and they blurt it out hoping it gets a bunch of le updoots (attention).
Since you’re ratioed and it’s not even close, it might not have been so meaningless. Why, do you think, do people give so much attention when it’s barely related and meaningless?
You seem to not know what trauma-dumping is
The topic and comments reminded me of a funny life experience which seemed relevant (brave dildoing of a definitely-not-a-dildo tool which typically has a wooden handle). Lemmy doesn’t even have karma and this is an anonymous account. It was shared with a comedic tone in an attempt to amuse readers with a funny topical anecdote; which it seems to have done.
I guess I’m not the only one who’s butthurt :P (that’s actually just played up for the punchline; the physical sensation wasn’t significant memorable at all, but the comedy of the situation was)
