It’s more like 7000 people really fucking everything up, the 1% just sounds better then the 0.00001%
Comment on Y'all seem to have lost track of the correct response to people crying about dead baddies

That’s what it will take to rid us of the top 1%.
Of course, if we’re going after the global 1% then that will be anyone making over approximately $55k USD per year.

Those numbers sound wrong. I make that and barely scrape by, and that’s without stupid shit like a boat or a big truck or anything remotely like that.

So that’s the thing… in the US even our poor are rich compared to the global poor.
But you’re right, people in the US making $50k a year aren’t really the problem. The problem is the people who have the average income of the 1%. That’s people making almost $500k a year. Which is crazy to think that the income needed to join the global 1% is so much lower than the average income of the 1%.

Yes that’s how many poor people there agree in the world that you, with your modest wage is still in the global 1%

In some countries outside the US, that would be enough for them to be absolutely filthy rich.
That is how insanely overpriced some things are in the US, and it wasn’t because of tariffs. It was corporations wanting as much profit as possible.

You are not filthy rich if you depend on a salary. And that’s not FU money basically anywhere.
