Yeah, reading Steam discussions ruined my day. Just full of racism under the vale of wokeness…
Those fuckin’ “Is this game woke?” threads we see everywhere these days might as well be “Does this game have any non-white male characters?”
They are worst that the stupid asses calling for characters to have a gender option in games with a story. I mean, anyone here didn’t enjoy Die Hard because they could not relate to the hero’s gender and sexuality during all those fun action scenes?
Now, on a totally unrelated topic: “Looking to buy the game, but do these devs prefer a penis or clit in their mouth?”
It’s hilarious! In the “is the game woke” thread, someone literally wrote:

Holy shit! That might be the dumbest arguement I’ve ever heard. I might have heard worse, but nothing is coming to mind.

It is so fucking stupid, because games would be so insanely boring if every character interaction was between straight, white, cis-het men, and no female character could ever pass the Bechdal Test.
Just like with movies and TV shows, I enjoy a variety of games that cover the entirety of the human experience. Why the fuck would I want to limit that??
