I wholeheartedly agree.
When I was on a school placement, there was a lot of, “This is boring! Why do I even have to learn this?”
I think a lot of school is about learning how to learn and having to face boring things, because not every job is going to be smelling the roses everyday.
I have to say, the curriculum includes content on respectful relationships and social-emotional learning, which I’m a big fan of. Although I’ve yet to see anyone teaching this stuff.

Maybe, some schools take 3 weeks off instead of 2 during the little breaks so that’s 3 weeks out of the year anyway for them.
