I'm surprised they've not gone full mask-off on the whole fascism thing. They're anti antifascism but simplifying it is a step too far?

ReallyActuallyFrankenstein@lemmynsfw.com 10 months agoWas she the one who kept ad hominem attacking with “antifa” at the end?
Relatedly, I’ll know we’ve left the worst timeline once it’s no longer a mainstream slur to be anti-fascist.

This is actually an example of them going all mask off with the direct attacks, saying ‘they are in charge’ to silence opposition, and using the system to promote fascism.

If she can define antifa I’ll eat a fucking towel
Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 10 months ago
Now…what’s the difference between a beach towel, and a fucking towel?
halcyoncmdr@lemmy.world 10 months ago
Beach towels are usually less absorbent on one or both sides. You don’t want to absorb the water from a Damp beach into the towel you’re laying on.

I submit that obviating fucking towels from your repertoire will preclude you from some barbarian sexplosion experiences

They’ll use the same bullshit definition they sstartes to seed into the public discourse via Fox News a year or two ago… That ANTIFA means Anti-First Amendment.
N0t_5ure@lemmy.world 10 months ago
Ironically, antifa is a portmanteau of anti-fascist, which naturally republicans view a slur.
